On the Season 3 premiere episode of Superstore, “Grand Re-Opening,” the blue-vested employees of Cloud 9 work diligently to restore the store after the tornado that swept the place at the end of Season 2. While America’s Got Talent judge Howie Mandel makes an appearance at the store — which has an interesting effect on Dina (Lauren Ash) — Amy (America Ferrera) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) confront the awkward kiss they shared during the storm.
While restocking product on adjacent shelves, Amy turns to Jonah and says, ‘Back at it, huh?” Jonah replies, “Yeah, it’s like we never left.” After an awkward exchange about Amy’s home life and living with a teenager, they both try to convince themselves and each other that things are fine between them. Superstore airs Thursdays at 8pm on NBC.
