Who Is Animal Hunter/Collector In ‘Trailer Park Shark’ with Tara Reid?

Days before the premiere of Sharknado 5: Global Swarming (Sunday, August 6 at 8pm on Syfy) comes Trailer Park Shark on Syfy. Sharknado star Tara Reid plays the lead, Billie Jean, who is desperate to kill a hungry shark that’s terrifying Soggy Meadows trailer park. In Trailer Park Shark, Reid is reunited with her American Pie co-star Thomas Ian Nicholas (Kevin). But it’s the animal hunter/collector who steals the scenes.

The man who loves taxidermy is portrayed by Dennis Haskins. He’s been acting since 1981 (he made his TV debut on Archie Bunker’s Place as a workman), but is best known for his role as principal Mr. Richard Belding on the Saved by the Bell franchise. Fun fact about Haskins: Before becoming an actor he was a manager for musicians including the late Gregg Allman (see Haskins’ tribute below). Trailer Park Shark premieres on Syfy on Wednesday, August 2 at 8pm.

Gregg and I crossed paths often and I had the pleasure and privilege of touring with him in the late 70’s and watched as The Allman Brothers reunited shortly after that.
