It’s down to six acts on the TV competition show World of Dance. The top two acts from each division will compete for a spot in the finals. In the Upper Division it’s a family affair: married couple Keone & Mari vs. the French twin brothers Les Twins. In the Team Division it’s Kinjaz vs. Swing Latino. And in the Junior Division it’s down to Diana Pombo and Eva Igo.
While Diana performs an emotive routine to the Alessia Cara song “Wild Things” against an Alice in Wonderland inspired set, Eva dances like her life is at stake. Dressed like a child in tattered clothing who’s either survived the past (like the French Revolution as depicted in Les Miserables) or is bracing for a troubled future (Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road comes to mind), Eva commands the stage with a fierce performance set to the song “Ready or Not” by Mischa “Book” Chillake featuring Esthero. World of Dance airs Tuesdays at 10pm on NBC, right after America’s Got Talent.
