On Steve Harvey’s Funderdome, three adorable little girls go head-to-head with their inventions. First up is BuddyBagz, a kid’s sleeping bag that comes with a built-in stuffed animal, pillow, night light, toiletry bag, an overnight bag and straps so a child can carry it like a backpack when the BuddyBagz is rolled up. Carly, the mother of Keira and Taylor, says they were inspired to invent BuddyBagz while packing for a trip and forced to consider driving two cars just to transport all of the children’s stuff for a sleepover. On Funderdome, Keira and Taylor do a great job showing all of the features of BuddyBagz before their competitor, 9-year-old Ruby and her mom Suzie of Golden, Colorado present her Food Cubby, a food divider that can be used on any plate.
[BuddyBagz are on sale for $59.99 on Amazon]
BuddyBagz, which is designed for 3 to 10 year olds, offers six different stuffed animals/designs: lion, monkey, koala bear, football, soccer ball, baseball, guitar, and a cupcake. The sleeping bag is 25” wide and 62” long, and the overnight bag can hold up to 3-days worth of clothing. BuddyBagz are machine-washable — just make sure to unzip and remove the Buddyz Head and the light from the tail/bat before washing. Note: Do not put the sleeping bag in the dryer — lay flat to dry. Steve Harvey’s Funderdome airs Sundays at 9pm on ABC.
