New Trump White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci was moved to tweet about White House leakers. Scaramucci was set off by the alleged “leak” of his financial disclosure info — and seemed to point the finger at White House staff rival Reince Priebus, with whom Scaramucci has butted heads in the past. But this isn’t about the Priebus/Scaramucci showdown, if such a thing exists, but rather about those financial disclosure forms. There is hardly anything more gossipy and interesting to the public than someone else’s financial condition — those highly trafficked net worth sites around the Internet are proof, as is the Forbes 400 list.
Scaramucci’s financial disclosure is available for examination at Politico. No surprise that he’s rich. He’s a big time hedge fund financier listing the value of his SkyBridge Capital at “over $50,000,000” and his salary alone from SkyBridge at over $5 million. It’s also interesting to note that his appearances on Fox Business News paid Scaramucci $88,461 according to the disclosure. He’s got lots of real estate interest too. Scaramucci lists a few bank accounts. In the only U.S. Bank savings account listed, the value is recorded as $1,001 – $15,000. In one of his checking accounts, however, Scaramucci reportedly keeps $501,000-$1,000,000.
