In the NCIS episode ‘Beastmaster’, a Marine sergeant is murdered in a national park. The plot thickens when a bloody burlap bag is found near the body. When it’s opened, a number of animal skulls roll out. Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the NCIS team partner with mounted police sergeant May Dawson to solve the murder and other related crimes in the park.
Mounted Police Sergeant May Dawson is portrayed by Elisabeth Röhm. She’s known for her roles on Hawaii Five-0 (psychiatrist Dr. Madison Gray), Jane the Virgin (Luisa’s girlfriend Eileen), The Last Ship (Allison Shaw), The Client List (Taylor Berkhalter), Heroes (Lauren Gilmore), Law & Order (Serena Southerlyn), Angel (Detective Kate Lockley), and Bull (Alison Jeffers), among others. Röhm is also recognized for her roles in two movies with Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence: Joy (Peggy) and American Hustle (Dolly). NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CBS.
