In the Mom episode ‘Tush Push and Some Radishes’, Bonnie (Allison Janney) learns that her mother Shirley (Ellen Burstyn) has died although she’s not that upset about it. She’s actually delighted. When clearing out Shirley’s apartment with daughter Christy (Anna Faris) she discovers a big bag of money in the freezer. The twist? While at the apartment, a man named Ray shows up claiming to be the son of Bonnie’s mother.
Ray is portrayed by Leonard Roberts. He’s known for his roles on Major Crimes (Commander Leo Mason), American Crime Story (Dennis Schatzman), The Client List (Detective Monroe), Heroes (D.L. Hawkins), and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Forrest Gates), among others. Roberts is also recognized for his roles in the films American Sniper (Instructor Rolle), Drumline (Sean Taylor), and He Got Game (D’Andre Mackey). Mom airs Thursdays at 9pm on CBS.
