It’s Week 4 on Dancing with the Stars, and Mr. T is still in it after Chris Kattan and Charo have been eliminated. Mr. T’s next dance with partner Kym Johnson Herjavec will reflect the most memorable year in his life. Mr. T says he’s dedicating his performance to his mother, and it will be an emotional one for him.

Mr. T (born Lawrence Tureaud) was the youngest son in a family with 12 children in a housing project in Chicago. He “attributes his survival and later success to his will to do well and his mother’s love.” In 1984, he released the song “Treat Your Mother Right”. See video below. He also went on about his mother when inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014. Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
