On the Black Ink Crew episode ‘Serving Wedding Realness’, while Richard and Nikki celebrate their wedding, tattoo artist Tiffany Perez comes to 113th Street to meet a client. But she’s stressed because she and Sky “have issues” because according to Tiffany, Sky is “intimidated because I’m an artist and she’s not.”
When Tiffany arrives, Sky (who’s dressed in a gray business suit and carrying a Chanel bag) says she’s going to be professional and that they’re all part of a team. But when Tiffany speaks up, Sky says she doesn’t care what Tiffany has to say because she doesn’t consider her part of the team. When Tiffany objects, Sky stands up and tells Tiffany “let’s go outside to fight.” But the two women don’t make it outside before a punch is thrown. When security comes to break it up, Sky is escorted out of the shop with a bloody forehead. (She’s taken to the hospital for stitches.) Afterwards, Walt says of Sky: “You can’t sit here looking like Clair Huxtable and then be Laila Ali.” Note: During the fight, Walt is wearing A Different World baseball hat. Black Ink Crew airs Wednesdays at 8pm on VH1.
