Jackson Mann of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the entrepreneur behind Vibes, high-fidelity earplugs designed specifically for live music enjoyment. Mann, an avid concertgoer, came up with the idea after he ruptured his eardrum at a concern in 2014. Live concerts can hit 120 decibels, whereas a normal conversation is 60 dB. With Vibes earplugs, a concertgoer can enjoy a live concert by reducing the decibel level by as much as 22 dB.
[Vibes’ competition is DUBS, $25 on Amazon]
One pair of Vibes earplugs costs $23.99 and that’s with shipping. One package includes one pair with three different covers (small, medium, large), and a handy carrying case. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
