Elena Petzold of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is the momtrepreneur behind Mama’s MilkBox. It’s a subscription service that sends breastfeeding moms fashionable and functional clothing designed specifically for breastfeeding women. Why wouldn’t a mom just go out and shop for herself? Not a lot of breastfeeding moms have the time to shop, let alone try on clothes. With Mama’s MilkBox, after a customer completes a style profile, the clothes (breastfeeding tops and dresses) come right to her doorstep. Whatever she doesn’t like or want, she just sends back (within three days).

A Mama’s MilkBox shipment cost $29/box. That fee is applied as a credit toward whatever is kept. Breastfeeding top ranges from $49 – $88 and breastfeeding dresses range from $59-$109. Petzold is pitching Mama’s MilkBox on Shark Tank (January 13). Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
