In The Big Bang Theory episode ‘The Property Division Collison’ while Stuart (Stuart Bloom) gets evicted and moves back into the Wolowitz home, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) argue over possessions in the apartment including a Dr. Spock cuckoo clock. In an attempt to seek revenge Sheldon rents out the apartment to an old man named Theodore.
Theodore is portrayed by Christopher Lloyd. The veteran actor is well recognized for his roles as Dr. Emmett Brown in the Back to the Future movies with Michael J. Fox, Taber in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest with Jack Nicholson, Uncle Fester in Addams Family Values with Angelica Houston, and Jim Ignatowski in Taxi with Judd Hirsch and Danny DeVito, among many others. The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8pm on CBS.
