The Mike D’Antoni era Houston Rockets will be good on offense. That much was expected and it’s a promise being fulfilled nightly — D’Antoni put the ball in the hands of dynamic workhorse James Harden and the Rockets haven’t looked back. Looking at the last ten games the Rockets’ defense ranks No. 18 in the NBA. That’s not making opponents lose sleep the night before heading to Houston, but considering the Rockets offensive prowess a middle-of-the-pack defense works out just fine — at least in the regular season. The defensive surge is being led by ferocious guard Patrick Beverley, whose been a stalwart Rockets backcourt man for years now. (Ask Jeremy Lin.)
