Doug Foreman is the polished salesman pitching his latest business Biem on Shark Tank. Biem is a device that melts and sprays butter. Foreman is a food business veteran. In 1989 he created Guiltless Gourmet, a line of low-fat tortilla chips. Before he sold the company in 1994, Ernst & Young named Foreman “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 1992. But that’s not all! In 2010, Foreman launched Beanitos, the first 100 percent corn-free snack chip made from whole beans. Beanitos are sold in more than 35,000 stores across the country. The brand got a nod during a 2015 Super Bowl ad for Newcastle Brown Ale. (See below. Look for robot holding a bag of Beanitos.)

It’s no surprise that Foreman got a deal on Shark Tank. The Queen of QVC Lori Greiner invested $500,000 in Biem for 14 percent equity.
