In the Blue Bloods episode ‘Confessions’, while Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Maria Ramirez) investigate the death of a socialite, NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) tries to get a priest to break his oath in order to save a missing 15-year-old boy. Someone told the priest the boy’s whereabouts in the confessional. Frank is forced to have a conversation with the mortal man the priest reports to, Archbiship Kevin Kearns.

The Archbishop is portrayed by Stacy Keach. He’s known for his roles on Crowded (Bob Moore), Ray Donovan (Marty the Texan), Full Circle (Bud O’Rourke), Two and a Half Men (Tom), Prison Break (Warden Henry Pope), Titus (Ken Titus), and Mike Hammer, Private Eye (Mike Hammer), among others. Keach is also well recognized for his roles on stage and in the films including American History X (Cameron Alexander), The Bourne Legacy (Adm. Turso, USN Ret), and Nebraska (Ed). Keach will appear next on the big screen with Matthew McConaughey in Gold (out Christmas Day 2016). Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS.
