Claudia Sampedro is one of the seven women — wives and girlfriends of professional athletes — featured in the new reality TV show WAGS Miami. Claudia is the mother of an eight-month-old son whose father is NFL football player Julius Peppers.
Julius Peppers was the number 2 overall pick in the 2002 NFL Draft. He was drafted by the Carolina Panthers after playing college football and basketball at the University of North Carolina. That’s right, he played on the Tar Heels basketball team too. During the 2000 NCAA Tournament, Peppers scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a loss to Penn State in the second round. He and former NFL Donovan McNabb are the only two athletes to play in both the NCAA Final Four and the Super Bowl. After playing with the Panthers, Peppers played for the Chicago Bears (2010-2013) and the Green Bay Packers since 2014. (He signed a three-year deal.) WAGS Miami airs Sundays at 10pm on E!
