On the Below Deck episode ‘The Freak Comes Out at Night,’ when the crew members go out together, drama ensues (as usual). Deckhand Lauren Burchell doesn’t like watching fellow Deckhand Nico Scholly flirt with Second Stew Emily Warburton-Adams so she walks away from the group. Nico senses Lauren’s annoyance and talks to Ben about it. “I feel so bad for her that I don’t have those feelings and the last thing I want to do is hurt her,” says Nico. Lauren says she feels embarrassed because “I thought we were on the same page and now he’s flirting with Emily.” She adds, “It’s painful to watch really.”

While Nico speaks with Lauren on the beach, Bosun Kelley Johnson tells Emily “Nico has a girl.” Afterwards, Kelley sarcastically says, “Oops.” When Nico returns and asks Emily to have a drink she turns him down. Emily says, “I disapprove of anyone making moves on people when they have other connections.” Below Deck airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
