Syfy is covering San Diego Comic Con live. The coverage will include sneak peeks of upcoming films and TV series and new seasons of streaming favorites including Con Man. Actor Alan Tudyk is the star, writer, director, producer and co-creator (with fellow actor Nathan Fillion, Castle) of the Vimeo exclusive series. Tudyk plays Wray Nerely, the co-star of the TV sci-fi series Spectrum which ended ten years ago. His co-star Jack (Fillion) has gone on to become a Hollywood star. Nerely has not and spends a lot of time at sci-fi conventions.
Tudyk is known for his roles on Suburgatory (Noah Werner), Arrested Development (Pastor Veal), and Firefly (Hoban “Wash” Washburne, with Fillion), among others. He’s also recognized for his roles in the films Dodgeball (Steve the Pirate), Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon (Dutch), Knocked Up (Simon), I, Robot (Sonny), Patch Adams (Everton), and Wonder Boys (Sam Traxler). Or you might recognize his voice from Frozen (Duke), A Knight’s Tale (Wat), and/or one of the Ice Age (Cholly) movies. Fun fact: Tudyk’s middle name is Wray. Con Man is available on Vimeo, here.
