In the TV series Blue: A Secret Life, Blue is a single mom of 13-year-old son Josh (Uriah Shelton). To make ends meet, when not working as an accountant, Blue turns to prostitution. She does her best to keep her second job a secret from her family. In the episode “Who Raises a Child Like This?,” Josh continues to have trouble at school. And in the episode “We Were in Love,” Josh’s therapy forces Blue to avoid questions that would expose her secret profession.
Blue is portrayed by Julia Stiles. She’s known for her roles on The Mindy Project (Dr. Jessica Lieberstein), Dexter (Lumen Ann Pierce), and in the Bourne films (Nicky), 10 Things I Hate About You (Kat) with the late Heath Ledger, O (Desi Brable), Mona Lisa Smile (Joan Brandwyn), and Hamlet (Ophelia), among others. Blue: A Secret Life airs Fridays at 10pm and 11pm on LMN.
