On Season 5 of Basketball Wives LA, two young women join the cast. There’s DJ Duffey, who’s Brandi Maxiell’s friend from Dallas, and Angel Love, a registered nurse from New Orleans. DJ Duffey is engaged to sports agent Iman Shokuohizadeh. Angel is dating NBA player DeJuan Blair.
DeJuan Blair played at the University of Pittsburgh for two years before joining the NBA. He was drafted in 2009 by the San Antonio Spurs. The 6’7” tall, 27-year-old played the last two seasons with the Washington Wizards. In February 2016, Blair was traded with Kris Humphries to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Markieff Morris but Blair was waived by the Suns four days later. Since then he’s been spending a lot of time in the gym “becoming a monster again” (see video below). Basketball Wives LA airs Sundays at 9pm on VH1.
