In the West Texas Investors Club episode “The Golden Nuggets,” investors Butch and Rooster hear two pitches. One is from a couple who make “humanely sourced” chicken nuggets. The other is presented by James Oliver, Jr. of WeMontage. On the WeMontage website, customers can turn their photos into large collages and apply them to their walls – it’s described as removable wallpaper. Home décor queen Martha Stewart called WeMontage “A décor idea every home owner should know.”
A 3 ft. x 2 ft. photo/strip of wallpaper costs $59.99. A 6 ft. x 2 ft. photo/strip costs $119.99. WeMontage also produces photos on pillows and blankets among other products. It sounds like a good investment but on West Texas Investors Club, which airs Tuesdays at 10pm on CNBC, Oliver fumbles when he talks about ownership of the company.
