Skyler and Brittney Scarlett call themselves the Ice Siblings because they are the co-founders of Glace Cryotherapy. Cryotherapy, a sauna or booth that emits freezing nitrogen air, is believed to reduce muscle inflammation. It’s a big trend in California where everyone from professional athletes to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills goes on a regular basis. The Ice Siblings pitched Glace Cryotherapy on Shark Tank and made a deal with investor Barbara Corcoran ($100,000 for 30 percent).
According to the Glace Facebook page, the deal with Barbara Corcoran never went through. But since their appearance on Shark Tank, Glace has made a deal with LA Fitness. Glace Cryotherapy says it will offer its services inside select clubs of LA Fitness.
