Donald Trump has close to 10 million followers on Twitter but he follows just 41 people on the social media platform. Of those 41 people, 9 are women. Of those 9, six are women who do not bear the last name Trump.
The six, non-Trump women Donald Trump follows are:
- Ann Coulter
- Greta Van Susteren
- Katrina Campins (from Trump’s The Apprentice)
- Katrina Pierson (his official national campaign spokeswoman)
- Roma Downey (Touched by An Angel actress, wife of reality TV king Mark Burnett)
- Diamond and Silk, two African-American sisters who support Trump (they are counted as one here as they share an account).
Below is a video that Diamond and Silk (their real names are Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson) released on July 13, after five white police officers were shot in Dallas. They discuss “the entity that is trying to divide us by race” and the sisters’ plea to “end Political Correctness.”
Note: Diamond and Silk are the only female African-Americans that Trump follows on Twitter. The only male African-American Trump follows is Magic Johnson (Hillary Clinton follows him too).
