In the pilot episode of Feed the Beast on AMC, recently freed ex-con and coke addict Dion Patras (Jim Sturgess) is facing a serious debt ($600,000) to the mob. To make money, he convinces his best friend, alcoholic sommelier Tommy Moran (David Schwimmer) to open a restaurant together in The Bronx. The plan involves Tommy’s bitter, estranged father Aidan who’s in a wheelchair.
Aidan Moran is portrayed by John Doman. He’s known for his roles on Gotham (Carmine Falcone), Madam Secretary (CIA Director Dennis Ellerman), The Affair (Bruce Butler), Person of Interest (Senator Ross Garrison), House of Cards (Bishop Charles Eddis), Rizzoli & Isles (Patrick “Paddy” Doyle), Borgia (Rodrigo Borgia), Damages (Walter Kendrick), The Wire (Acting Commissioner William A. Rawls), and ER (Dr. Carl Deraad), among others. Feed the Beast airs Saturdays at 10pm on AMC.
