Entrepreneur Ben Wood of Rochester, New York pitched his business Viewsport on Shark Tank in 2012. On the show Wood demonstrated how his line of t-shirts reveal a motivational message when the wearer sweats. The t-shirts are designed to encourage people to work out harder. Wood didn’t get an investment on Shark Tank but he wasn’t discouraged. He’s still selling the shirts on the Viewsport website. Men’s t-shirts and women’s tanks sell for $24.99.

For those who want to cheat and show their message or logo to friends without breaking a sweat, Viewsport says that’s possible too. Here’s how: “Turn your shirt or tank top inside out, and using a spray bottle filled with water, lightly mist your shirt in the logo area and turn right side out to see the reveal.” Wood himself probably wouldn’t take the shortcut. A college chemistry major, he knows just how sweat works. And he’s still grinding it out with sweat equity to turn Viewsport into a champion venture. By the way, you can create your own custom designs.
