Caity Peters is the singer who sang the Labrinth song “Jealous” for her Blind Audition on Season 10 of The Voice and got all four judges — Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Christina Aguilera, and Blake Shelton — to turn their chairs. Caity chose Pharrell Williams and now she’s getting ready for the Live Playoffs where she’ll sing the Adele song “I’ll Be Waiting.”

When “I’ll Be Waiting” became a hit in 2012, Adele told The Sun that it’s quite a happy song actually, it’s me admitting my faults,” she said. She also said that musically, a major influence for the song was Dusty Springfield — the mezzo soprano singer perhaps best known for the unforgettable “Son of a Preacher Man.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
