Love & Hip Hop Atlanta newbies Betty Idol and D. Smith are best friends, and together they’re making their debut on the show. In the back seat of a car, Betty tells D. Smith that she’s been talking to Scrappy. “What do you mean?” asks D. Betty clarifies, “You know, Scrappy the rapper. He’s wondering if I could do a hook for him.” Betty goes on about how they recently got together and chilled. D. is not impressed. “Betty Idol working with anyone with the name Scrappy lowers her style and value,” says D.
Betty goes on to tell D. that when she was with Scrappy, Bambi was “blowing up” Scrappy’s phone. D. doesn’t beat around the bush — she asks if Betty if she’s sleeping with Scrappy. She says no, although D. is not convinced. “We’re just gonna do music,” says Betty, who then complains about Tammy, wife of Waka Flocka Flame. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs Mondays at 8pm on VH1.
