Ryan Frayne of Brooklyn, New York demonstrated his fast inflatable mattress Windcatcher on Shark Tank in 2015. What makes the mattress so unique is its technology. There’s no pump or electricity involved. The user simply blows into the built-in valve and it inflates in seconds. Frayne’s demonstration on Shark Tank was impressive. He received a number of offers and eventually partnered with Lori Greiner.
Since Shark Tank, the Windcatcher “Rapid Inflation Valve Technology” has been licensed to Eagle Creek. The travel bag company is using the technology for its Fast Inflate™ Pillow. See video below. The pillow is designed with a soft fleece side for your face. Two sizes are available on the Eagle Creek website for $45 and $50.
