In the Blue Bloods episode “Friends in Need,” Reagan brothers Jaime (Will Estes) and Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) argue over how to handle Marcus Beal (Michael Drayer) a reckless rookie cop who just happens to be the son of Danny’s friend. Meanwhile Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) has dinner with the lovely Sloane Thompson.
Sloane Thompson is portrayed by Alex Kingston. She’s best known for her roles on Doctor Who (Professor River Song), Arrow (Dinah Lance), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (Miranda Pond), and ER (Dr. Elizabeth Corday), among others. Fun fact about Kingston: She is a former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS.
