On the Rosewood episode “Ballistics and BFFs”, while Rosewood (Morris Chestnut) investigates Villa’s (Jaina Lee Ortiz) new partner, he runs into an old friend who proves helpful on the case. Dr. Anita Eubanks is a flirtatious medical examiner who’s got the hots for Rosewood and she isn’t going to hide it even when on the job.
Dr. Anita Eubanks is portrayed by Sherri Shepherd. The standup comedian turned actress turned TV host (The View) is best known for her TV roles on How I Met Your Mother (Daphne), 30 Rock (Angie Jordan), Less Than Perfect (Ramona), Everybody Loves Raymond (Sergeant Judy), The Jamie Foxx Show (Sheila), and Suddenly Susan (Miranda). Shepherd is also recognized for her roles in the films Top Five, Think Like a Man, Precious, and Beauty Shop (Ida), among others. Rosewood airs Wednesdays at 8pm on FOX.
