Jeremiah Robison is the bespectacled CEO of Beloved Shirts. Three years ago he started playing around with sublimation printing — which lets him print all over clothing like shirts, hoodies, onesies, hats, backpacks — combining it with one of his favorite things in life, pizza. When Robison made a pepperoni pizza shirt, hat and backpack for his son and posted a photo of the boy dressed in pizza, he found himself in a heated Photoshop battle on Reddit. When Instagram influencer 9gag posted the photo, more than 330,000 people liked it.
Since the “Pizza Boy” craze, Robison has added pop star diva Katy Perry as a partner. Perry is a huge fan of Beloved onesies and has designed her own line with Beloved. With a partner/spokesperson like Katy Perry (and her 84 million followers) on its side, it’s reasonable to wonder why Beloved Shirts needs to pitch its business on Shark Tank (March 11). But then again if you want to cover the world in pizza, you need a lot of dough. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
