Jess Edelstein and Sarah Ribner of Philadelphia pitched Piper Wai, their all-natural deodorant made from activated charcoal on Shark Tank in December 2015. They made a deal with Barbara Corcoran. Since then sales have “skyrocketed.” However, the two women recently told Philadelphia Business Journal, “The deal hasn’t officially closed yet” but for all intents and purposes “they are working with Corcoran.”

Piper Wai sold $1 million worth of Piper Wai in 10 days after the original episode aired. Two months after that, they reported more than $1.3 million in sales. But there have been complaints about slow delivery. They switched co-packers and hired two customer service employees to help fulfill orders. Now Edelstein and Ribner are working on a stick applicator. They will give an update on Shark Tank (February 26) which airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
