Christina Aguilera Cries About Motherhood on ‘The Voice’

The Voice is back but judge Gwen Stefani is not. While some romantic fans will be disappointed not to follow the googly eyed exchanges between Stefani and fellow judge Blake Shelton, returning judge Christina Aguilera will entertain as usual. When Xtina returns to The Voice, the audience chants her name and she likes what she hears.

Sporting a long half ponytail, Xtina reveals what she’s been up to since her last appearance on The Voice. She’s working on muliple albums, including a follow-up to her debut Spanish album Mi Reflejo, and she took a trip to Ecuador (where her father was born), as a UN Ambassador for World Hunger. Oh, and she had a baby, a daughter named Summer Rain. During the Blind Auditions, Xtina addresses a working mother contestant. “When you want something so bad, things sometimes do get in the way,” she says as she wipes away tears. “No one works harder than a mom.” (Xtina’s daughter is now 14 months old.) The Voice airs Mondays at 8pm on NBC.
