In The X-Files Season 10 premiere episode ‘My Struggle,’ agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) reunite after 13 years. While investigating a government conspiracy, they meet with popular Internet news anchor Tad O’Malley. O’Malley introduces Mulder and Scully to a woman who says she was abducted by an alien.

O’Malley is portrayed by Joel McHale. He’s best known for his role on the sitcom Community (Jeff Winger) and as longtime host of The Soup on E! (2004-2015). McHale has also appeared in the films The Informant!
