Tasha and Antonio Adams are twins and co-founders of Village Scholarships, an online business that helps students create campaigns to fund their college tuitions. The platform matches student profiles with donor profiles, helps collect donations and create scholarships and even helps transfer money straight to colleges, universities and other educational institutions. Their goal is help more students afford higher education.

The Adams know how difficult it is to pay for higher education. Antonio Adams is pursuing his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado, his fifth college. He was recruited out of high school by Stanford University, the Air Force Academy, Dartmouth College, Brown University, and a few other prestigious colleges known for athletics. He lost two basketball scholarships due to injuries. Tasha is a Ph.D. student studying Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona, on a full-ride scholarship. The two will pitch Village Scholarships on Shark Tank on January 15 at 9pm on ABC. One obstacle is that the website won’t launch until Summer 2016.
