Two best friends from Pittsburgh, Lindsay Johnson and Nicole Bilsky, invented the Trimi Tank. It’s a tanktop that comes with interchangeable straps. The straps are changed and removed by looping the strap through the metal loop on the garment shoulder then buttoning the button into an elastic loop. The Hockey Moms pitched their product on Shark Tank in 2012. While the investors on the show loved their attitude, none of the Sharks made an investment. They didn’t have impressive sales numbers: they had sold only 100 tanks (each for $35).
