Based on the bestselling Karen Kingsbury novel The Bridge, the TV movie of the same title focuses tells the story of Molly Allen and Ryan Kelly (Wyatt Nash). The two college students met at The Bridge, a local coffee shop and book store in Franklin, Tennessee. They grow close to each other and the shop’s owners, married couple Charlie (Ted McGinley) and Donna Barton (Faith Ford). But a misunderstanding drives the young couple apart. Five years later, miles apart, Molly and Ryan pine for each other but assume the other has moved on. When Charlie Barton gets into a car accident, Molly and Ryan reunite at The Bridge.
Molly is portrayed by Katie Findlay. The 25-year-old Canadian actress is best known for her roles on Netflix’s The Killing (Rosie Larsen), The Carrie Diaries (Maggie Landers), and How to Get Away with Murder (Rebecca Sutter). Karen Kingsbury’s The Bridge will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on December 6 at 8pm.
