Trunkster makes zipperless luggage. Instead of struggling with a zipper, a traveler gains access to a Trunkster piece of luggage via a fancy sliding door. The door moves like the “roll-top doors of airplanes,” Trunkster founders explain. You can even charge your phone or tablet with Trunkster luggage. And it comes with a built-in digital scale so you know if you need to unload at home before getting stuck with an overweight luggage fee at the airport.
The carry-on Trunkster is currently selling for $350. You can pay an extra $60 if you want to add a GPS. You’re not the only one who thinks it’s a brilliant idea/product. Trunkster raised almost $1.5 million through its Indiegogo campaign. The creators of Trunkster will ask for more on Shark Tank on December 4 at 9pm on ABC.
