In the Supergirl episode “How Does She Do It?,” Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) has a lot on her plate. As everyday mortal Kara, she’s been assigned to babysit her boss Cat Grant’s (Calista Flockhart) son, Carter Grant (Levi Miller, Peter in the 2015 film Pan with Hugh Jackman). But as Supergirl, she needs to figure out a way with her sister Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maxwell Lord to stop another series of bombings from exploding in National City.

Maxwell Lord, the millionaire who funded the Justice League International, is portrayed by Peter Facinelli. He’s best known for his roles on American Odyssey (Peter Decker), Nurse Jackie (Dr. Fitch Cooper), Glee (Rupert Campion), Damages (Gregory Malina), Six Feet Under (Jimmy), and in The Twilight Saga movies (Dr. Carlisle Cullen). Facinelli was married to Jennie Garth (90210) for 12 years before falling in love with Jaimie Alexander, Jane Doe on Blindspot. Supergirl airs Mondays at 8pm on CBS.
