In the Jane the Virgin episode “Chapter Twenty-Eight,” writer Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) is trying to balance her new lifestyle — being a new mom and a graduate student. While she worries at home about her son Mateo becoming spoiled, on campus, she’s confronted by an unsympathetic writing professor.
The professor is portrayed by Adam Rodriguez. He’s best known for his roles on the TV shows CSI: Miami (Eric Delko) and Ugly Betty (Bobby Talericio). Rodriguez is also recognized for his role as Tito in the Magic Mike movies. He’s currently playing Cookie Lyon’s lover/concert promoter Laz Delgado on Empire, which airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Fox. Jane the Virgin airs Mondays at 9pm on CW.
