On the NCIS episode, “Saviors”, Agent Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) travels to Sudan to solve the disappearance of a Navy doctor. At the crime scene, where a group of volunteer doctors work, DiNozzo reunites with his ex-girlfriend Jeanne Benoit. Her husband is a doctor at the clinic, and he’s been kidnapped, too. Jeanne’s father is “Le Grenouille” arms dealer Rene Benoit (Armand Assante). DiNozzo was told to get close to Jeanne when he went undercover to catch Rene. Their breakup was not an amicable one. (Last time Jeanne made an appearance on the show was 2008.)
Jeanne Benoit is portrayed by Scottie Thompson. She’s appeared on many TV show including Ugly Betty, Bones, Rizzoi & Isles, among others. In addition to her NCIS role as Jeanne, she’s also recognized for her roles on The Blacklist (Zoe D’Antonio), Trauma (Diana Van Dine), and Brotherhood (Shannon McCarthy). NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CBS.
