Korin Bukowski is one of the Top 12 singers on Season 9 of The Voice. She’s a self-proclaimed weirdo who wears glasses and sings alternative songs like Andrew McMahon’s “Cecilia and the Satellite” and Regina Spektor’s “Samson.” At her Blind Audition, before her joined Gwen Stefani’s team, Adam Levine commented how “cool” she is to which Korin replied, “far from it.” While Stefani says she likes Korin’s unique voice she did want to see Korin perform without her unique eyeglasses. Korin performed “Adia” without them, and made the Top 12.
“Weirdos” usually have a hard time fitting in but it doesn’t seem Korin is having a difficult time at college. The pre-med junior at the University of Miami is a sorority sister at Chi Omega. On social media, the Chi Omega women look like “regular” Miami co-eds having fun on the beach and doing good on campus. Nothing weird about that. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
