In the TV movie Are You My Daughter?, Laura Paddington (Brooke Langton) is in a support group for parents who have lost their children to abduction. After Zoe went missing 17 years ago, Laura and her husband divorced. In the support group, Laura meets her new boyfriend Jacob. And then miraculously, Laura finds Zoe (now named Rebecca) and brings her home. Laura reintroduces Zoe (Stephanie Bennett) to her ex-husband Richard (Mike Dupod) who doesn’t see the resemblance at all. “I don’t think that’s my daughter,” he says. He’s not the only one who believes Laura is the target of a con job.

Jacob is portrayed by Peter Benson. He was most recently in the Lifetime TV movie The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story (Chuck Pratt), and in the sci-fi thriller film Air with Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou. He’s also known for his recurring role as Marshal Jessup on Hell on Wheels. Are You My Daughter? premieres on Lifetime On October 17 at 8pm. It will air again on October 18 at 12am , 6pm, and 8pm.
