McDonald’s Corp is the number one choice for “breakfastarians,” those who crave breakfast food at any hour. According to a YouGov BrandIndex survey, 41 percent of consumers who eat breakfast twice a day say they consider McDonald’s for their next meal.
With that data and about 25 percent of McDonald’s sales coming from the breakfast menu (40 percent profit in the US), the golden arches will start to serve breakfast all day beginning October 6. They kind of have to. IHOP and now Taco Bell are big contenders in the breakfast market.
