Rosalie Martinez was working as a private investigator for the public defender assigned to serial killer Oscar Bolin. She fell in love with “Bolin the Butcher” and eventually left her husband Victor Martinez, a prominent attorney in Tampa, and their four daughters to marry the convicted serial killer in 1996.

Twelve years after divorcing Rosalie, Victor Martinez was arrested in a sting at a Tampa adult theater. According to Tampa Bay Times, Victor Martinez approached an undercover police officer at an adult movie theater while fondling himself. According to the police report, Martinez immediately apologized and said “he would be willing to work off the charges.” Martinez’s attorney Joe Bodiford, said it was a misunderstanding and that “Victor Martinez is a wonderful human being.”
