The irony on the reality show Married to Medicine is plentiful. Before being arrested for assaulting her husband, plastic surgeon Dr. John Connors (and in front of their children), Jill Connors hosts a fundraising event to benefit Atlanta Victims Assistance, a worthy non-profit which helps victims of domestic abuse, among other things. (Do as I say, not as I do was apparently a secondary theme of Jill’s abuse awareness fundraiser.)

At the event, Jill – who stuffs herself into an obscene corset – throws her husband under the proverbial bus. When party guest Dr. Heavenly Kimes asks Jill if her husband John has been talking badly about Heavenly’s husband (whom Heavenly calls ‘Daddy’), Jill says, with a weak smile, “I think so.” Everyone knows Heavenly is quick to defend her man. But when Heavenly approaches Daddy and asks him if John said something inappropriate to him, Daddy says no. Hmm. Think Jill has an alterative motive for provoking Heavenly? Married to Medicine airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
