Nicole Richie’s show Candidly Nicole surprised many critics by getting a second season chance. In a sneak peek of Season 2 (which premieres July 29), Richie walks into a biker bar with an elderly woman who goes by the name Baddie. All the leather-clad dudes at the bar greet her warmly. Richie, wearing a silk kimono, feels out of place. Baddie tells her, “You’ll be fine. I’ll make a bad bitch out of you.”
Baddie Winkle was born Helen Ruth Van Winkle in 1928. The 87-year-old from Kentucky has become an Internet darling. She likes to take selfies while wearing her great-granddaughter’s colorful clothes (and other provocative attire) and promotes legalized medical marijuana. After pop star Rihanna started following Baddie on Instagram, she reached one million followers. Candidly Nicole airs Wednesdays at 11pm on VH1.
