Gisele Bundchen deflated fashion runway watchers when she retired from fashion show catwalks earlier this year. But Gisele’s still busy being photographed. And if you like the idea of a very tall athletic supermodel in 28-inch thigh high black boots that really no one else should really wear, then the new Stuart Weitzman boot campaign starring Tom Brady’s wife is a beauty. (Especially if you also like a side of nude derriere.)
The ads, shot by fashion photography prince Mario Testino, show off what Weitzman is calling ALLEGS. And more than that they show off the fact that everybody has different genes — Gisele’s genes, for instance, are not like yours. These are kickers in which to show off your knickers — at least the way Gisele wears ’em. And they sure are well-named, these ALLEGS boots, because that’s exactly what Gisele seems in the ad — all legs. Now you can go to Stuart Weitzman and grab a pair for around $800. (Look, Gisele’s gotta get paid!) Or you could try something sensible and give up the dream!
