Jon Stewart aims his bemused and disappointed vitriol at any moving target. Sure it’s often his numero uno nemesis Fox News, but The New York Times isn’t safe either. An exercise in Marco Rubio muckraking at the Times came in for the Stewart treatment this week. Stewart doesn’t think what the Times turned up on the GOP presidential candidate from Florida meets the standards for front page news. One article took Rubio to task for his personal financial decisions, which have included carrying a lot of debt — but also nabbing an $800,000 book deal. (That’ll help out your debt load.)
