Queen Bey is rumored to be hiding in her palatial marble-floored mansion bathroom with her Beats on. Word is she’s dancing like — well, like Beyonce — to the latest Beck single, Dreams. There is no actual confirmation that Kanye West is banging on the door, asking what’s taking her so long. Nor do we know for sure that Beyonce is actually covering her covert activities by firing up a couple of blow dryers at once — though that kind of normal activity could throw Kanye off the Beck scent. Beyonce just loves the new summer-fun track, which Beck may or may not have (he’s so inscrutable!) made with Beyonce in mind.
Even Kanye might like danceable “Dreams” — there’s an artist behind it, which should please him. And it’s very much Beck the pop artist like Beyonce than the more esoteric-type Beck — with all those instruments he plays and knowing how to write the songs all by himself. Question is will Beyonce admit she likes Beck? And what will Kanye do? And what if there are no cameras around — does that mean none of this is really happening?
